Daily Office | 2.9.14

We are in week five of Epiphany, the season in the church calendar that celebrates the revealing of Christ’s true identity as the Messiah and Son of God. Join with us this week as we study the scripture and meditate on this amazing truth – that God sent Jesus to save us and restore all of creation.

This prayer (or Collect) and these scriptures are taken from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

Set us free, O God, from the bondage of our sins, and give us the liberty of that abundant life which you have made known to us in your Son our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
