Summer Sabbath – No Worship Services in July

SUMMER SABBATH

Each year during the month of July, The Parish takes a “Summer Sabbath.” For four weeks, we take a break from our typical rhythm of Sunday worship services. Instead, during this month we encourage you to invest time with family, friends and neighbors. This period is a valuable time of rest for our volunteers, and allows us to plan for a great start to our fall season, beginning in August.

Although we won’t be meeting together publicly, The Parish community will be gathering informally at dinner tables, coffee shops, and swimming pools, sharing life in the way of Jesus. We pray that this month you experience life with margin; a chance to use your time to breathe deeply and pour into the lives of others.

During this break, you can keep in touch with us online through our Blog, Facebook Page, and Twitter. And mark your calendars now for Sunday, August 2nd at 10:00am, when we will gather to celebrate a new season and share all that God has done.
