Introducing Circles

The Parish desires to be a people of formation, community, and renewal in the way of Jesus. Circles are Parish small groups with a particular aim toward those first two: opening our lives to God (formation) and one another (community).

A Circle is formed as a small group of friends (or friends in the making) commit to regularly share both space and life together, looking for the intersection of their stories and the Holy Spirit.

Circles are a way we can intentionally grow in our love for God and love for others as we cultivate awareness of how God is at work through ordinary life.

What does a Circle look like?

Circle groups share a common shape, hope, and format. Sometimes the gathering will be lighthearted – marked by shared food, laughter, and storytelling. Other times tears and prayers may emerge as struggles are named and shame is surfaced. Often times, both sides of this spectrum will hold hands during the same gathering.

Paula D’Arcy said it right: “God comes to us disguised as our lives.”

And so we learn to listen to our lives – trusting God is speaking through our everyday experiences. We look to seek, discern, and name where God is present in the presence of trusted community – listening to God through others. Together, as we examine our lives and discern the Spirit, we can be formed into deeper Christlike wholeness through each chapter of life’s story.

Signups are open for Circles running August – December, 2026.
