This morning we enter Acts 3-4 in a new way as Sarah tells the story and asks us simple questions in response. As you hear the story, consider these questions: What did you like about this story? What bothered you or confused you about this story? What does this story show you about God/Jesus? What does this story show you about people? If this story is really true how does it change you? Who in your life needs to hear this story?

Jesus says, as the Father sent me, so I send you.’ What does it mean to be sent by Jesus into the world, and how do we go in the same manner that he was sent?

We look at the final part of Paul’s pattern for formation into the image of Christ - 'put on therefore.’ How can we cooperate with God to be clothed in the image of Christ? We explore three ways: restorying, forbearance, and forgiveness.

We explore the third part of Paul’s pattern for formation into the image of Christ - 'put off therefore.’ In light of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, what lesser ways of being no longer belong in our lives? And how can we practically cooperate with God to do for Jesus’ sake what we formerly did for our own? Plus, some thoughts on the “wrath of God”.

As community this morning we walk through the story of Jesus' Ascension and the coming of the Holy Spirit. The gathering and podcast are unique for this post, in that it is a full service recording with music and teaching.
