SUMMER SABBATH – No Services in July
Each year during the month of July, The Parish takes a “Summer Sabbath.” For one month, we take a break from our typical rhythm of Sunday worship services. Instead, during this month we encourage you to invest time with family, friends and neighbors. This period is a valuable time of intentional rest for our servant leaders, and allows us to plan for a great start to our fall season, beginning in August.
Although we won’t be meeting together publicly, The Parish community will be gathering informally at dinner tables, coffee shops, and swimming pools, sharing life in the way of Jesus. We pray that this month you experience life with margin; a chance to use your time to breathe deeply and pour into the lives of others.
During this break, you can keep in touch with us here on our website, or through our text message service: simply text the word “Parish” to 31996. We will be sending out important information about the coming year at The Parish. And mark your calendars now for Sunday, August 5th at 9:00 & 10:30am, when we will gather to celebrate a new season and share all that God has done.
