Basement Kids Area & Check-In Station Setup
Set up the basement kids area and get all technology running for Elementary check-in.
Fill water container located on black cart (fill from upstairs middle sink)
Ensure that large black trash cans are lined with bags; if not, find bags on bottom of Host Team cart in storage
Place check-in station against wall between elevator and back hallway leading outside
Plug in all check-in station items, turn on all items and open check-inn app on iPads
Retrieve large wagon/cart with exterior signage from basement kids area in preparation for parking sign placement
Exterior Signage Placement
Place exterior signs to guide visitors to parking and accessible entrances.
📍 Helpful Hints: Check out the map image below. Begin in the back parking lot. Each sign has a number on the top corner, which corresponds with its placement. Place signs in order, 3-7. Once you have placed sign #7, leave the cart at the side of the building next to the handicap ramp. When retrieving signs, start with sign #7, and work backwards, 7-3. Once done, leave the cart and signs in the basement kids area.
#3: Sandwich Board at Brindle Ln and entrance into back parking lot (at corner closest to townhomes)
#4: Sandwich Board at Vaughn Dr and Brindle Ln (at corner closest to N Main, facing traffic incoming from N Main)
#5: "Do not park in front of office buildings" sign across street at Millennium, at front entrance in front of median
#6: "Parking" sign near sidewalk of Vaughan Dr and entrance to Millennium parking (viewable from street)
#7: "Parking and Accessible Entrance" sign by the street of Kalen's front parking lot, by the mailbox
Top Level Interior Signage
Set up directional and informational signs on the top level.
[Welcome Table] Place "Connect" retractable banner sign left of Welcome Table
[Outside Sanctuary Back Door] Place "If we're not here…" standing sign out on the top level back patio
[Middle Room] Hang "5th-6th" laminated sign on the wall hook outside the middle room
[Conference Room] Hang "7th-8th" laminated sign on the wall hook outside Conference room
Main Level Interior Signage
Place signs throughout the main level to direct families and visitors.
[Lobby/Entry] Place "Good Morning" retractable banner sign in front of couch that was pushed up against the desk
[Babies/Walkers] Place "Babies & Walkers" standing sign in front of blocked area
[Rear Lobby] Place "Parish Kids" large metal standing sign behind lobby double-doors in front of locked kitchen doors
[Elementary Staircase] Hang "Elementary" laminated sign on wall hook at top of stairs leading down to basement
[Preschool] Hang "Preschool" laminated sign on door hook right by the Preschool check-in area
[Exterior Preschool] Place "Preschool Check-In" standing sign outside Preschool door on patio by playground
[Front Foyer Door] Place "If we're not here…" standing sign inside front door and hidden, until Greeters leave post for gathering
Basement Level Signage
Complete the signage setup with basement directional signs.
[Elementary] Place "Elementary" standing sign at the bottom landing of the staircase (pointing toward room)
[Basement Exterior] Place "Elementary Check-In" standing sign outside the exterior basement door near the outside stairs
