Daily Office | 3.2.14

We are in the last week of Epiphany, the season in the church calendar that celebrates the revealing of Christ’s true identity as the Messiah and Son of God. Join with us this week as we study the scripture and meditate on this amazing truth – that God sent Jesus to save us and restore all of creation.

This prayer (or Collect) and these scriptures are taken from the Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

O God, who before the passion of your only-begotten Son revealed his glory upon the holy mountain: Grant to us that we, beholding by faith the light of his countenance, may be strengthened to bear our cross, and be changed into his likeness from glory to glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
