Milton South

We joined the Parish community six years ago and have served on the host team for the past five. We also previously served as members of the Vestry for a year and a half. Alpharetta became our home almost 13 years ago when we moved here from South Florida, where we both grew up and raised our children. We met in high school, dated for 7 years and will celebrate our 43rd wedding anniversary in November.

Our daughters Kelly and Jamie live in Roswell with their husbands and children. Kelly and her husband John have three children, Pace (7 1/2), Shelby(4 1/2) and Hayes (22 months), while Jamie and her husband Chris have two children, Madison (2 1/2) and Luke (8 months). We are retired from the “official” working world, but have part ownership in Jamie and Chris’ child development center, Building Kidz of Roswell.

We are looking forward to this new season as house church hosts, where our hope is to share in a journey of drawing closer to Jesus and developing deeper connections with other members of the Parish family. We pray our group will experience the work of the Holy Spirit through shared stories, great conversation, encouraging fellowship and outreach to the community.
